PROFHILO 64MG 2ML

PROFHILO is the first stabilised hyaluronic acid (HA) based product that is manufactured without the use of chemical cross-linking agents (BDDE) and is used for skin remodelling and treating skin laxity, not for just filling lines and wrinkles. According to the makers, it delivers a dramatic improvement in tissue quality, even in challenging areas, and is complementary to other aesthetic treatments and dermal filler procedures.

The pack consists of:

1 x 2ml syringe
2 x 29G 1/2″ needles

Profhilo recommend using a needle with a diameter between 27G – 33G

How long does the result last for?

Results are almost instant from the first treatment. In general, results will last from 6 to 9 months and even up to one year depending on individual skin type factors, such as age, and lifestyle.

What does Profhilo contain?

IBSA’s hyaluronic acid is an ultra-pure grade hyaluronic acid, produced through a patented bio-fermentation process, of Streptococcus Zooepidemicus, which ranks worldwide as “top quality” in terms of purity, safety, and its high resistance to thermal production processes.

The formulation of HA with different molecular weights contained in PROFHILO is based on a concept of Hydrolift® Action. This innovative approach is aimed at counteracting the physiological reduction of HA in the skin, restoring hydration, elasticity, and skin tone, by associating, in a synergistic way, deep hydration with the mechanical action of lifting the skin. HA is hydrophilic which means that it draws and retains water in your body, thereby acting as a hydrator rather than a filler that only fills in wrinkles and plumps the skin temporarily. Within 3-5 days, you can witness the firsthand transformation of tired and dull-looking skin to firm and luminous skin. Profhilo® usually works to smooth and hydrate the skin from the very first treatment but results are more prominent after the second treatment as Profhilo® takes time to work. By having 2-3 treatment sessions, it allows the Profhilo® to remain in the skin for a longer time, resulting in a longer-lasting effect.

It takes time to stimulate new collagen and elastin production to naturally improve the plumpness, firmness and elasticity of the skin. An initial cycle of two treatment sessions at 30 day intervals is recommended, followed if necessary by maintenance treatments every 2 months. However, it is suggested to evaluate the specific PROFHILO protocol according to the patients degree of ageing.
